Featured Artist: Sean Gallagher

Having first served in the United States Air Force from 1988-1992, Sean Gallagher went on to receive his B.A. in Art & History Education from Saginaw Valley State University in 1997, and his M.A. in Humanities from Central Michigan University in 2003. He is currently employed as an art teacher at Birch Run High School. In addition to his teaching role, he serves as an art consultant and freelance artist, further enriching his professional practice.

Sean’s artistic versatility is evident in his exploration of various mediums, including clay, paint, pen and ink illustration, chalk, and even ephemeral creations such as sand and snow sculptures. This diverse approach not only fuels his imagination but also allows him to connect with a wide range of audiences, making his work both relatable and impactful.
